Our History
Calvary Baptist Church was organized in 1950, and has been a cornerstone of this community, guiding generations in faith, hope, and love. We are proud of our roots and continue to grow stronger together.
Our Community Role
We are more than just a place of worship; we are a supportive community. Our events and outreach programs aim to bring people together, embracing everyone regardless of their background.
We’re excited to invite you to a very special day at Calvary Baptist Church on Sunday, October 5 as we celebrate our 75th Anniversary & Dedication.
Here’s the day’s schedule:
•9:30 AM – Sunday School
•Worship Service with Guest Speaker Bill Sword and Guest Music Leader Eric Carter
•Lunch immediately following worship
•Fellowship & Games for the kids after lunch
•2:00 PM – Celebration Service

OUR PASTOR
Pastor Terry comes to Calvary with over forty years of Pastoral experience. He has pastored churches in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Missouri. He and his wife Janice pastored Hopedale Baptist Church in Ozark, Missouri for thirty-five years. More >>
ABOUT US
In 1952 the church purchased the old Icehouse just west of the square, completely remodeled and used until May 30, 1999. The church moved to our present location at 4195 East McCracken Road. This year, in our 75th year, we remodeled again! More >>

WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. There is one and only one living and true God. Christ is the eternal Son of God.
