Celebrating 75 Years!

Calvary Baptist Church was organized in 1950. Services were originally held in the back room of a local Barber Shop, located on the north side of the public square in Ozark, Missouri.
Exploring Our Church's Journey
In 1952 the church purchased the old Icehouse just west of the square. The building was completely remodeled and was used until May 30, 1999. At that time the church moved to our present location at 4195 East McCracken Road. Also in 1952 the church joined the Christian County Baptist Association now known as the Tri County Southern Baptist Association, The Missouri Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention
Work on our present facility began in earnest in November 1998. The people of Calvary Baptist Church believed deeply that God had given them the opportunity to relocate and began the project with prayer, sacrifice, and dedication. The church received donated materials and labor which allowed the new church facility to be built and dedicated July 25, 1999.
Today Calvary has a vision to serve our community and to share the truth of the Word of God. Our church believes we have been placed at our present location to bring the life-changing message of Jesus to those who have not yet come to know him.
